Your Responsibilities:
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Understand and interpret economic, political, and industry trends, derive potential implication for INNIO Jenbacher global gas engine business
    • Analyze historic (macroeconomic) data and combine with internal sales data to understand patterns that can be used for forecasting
    • Identify key growth & risk drivers for INNIO business per region, country, and application and use these to evaluate existing & new markets
  • Business Intelligence:
    • Identify mega trends relevant for INNIO Jenbacher & initiate potential business development opportunities and support the sales organization in the early stage
    • Build deep expertise in selected emerging and potential market segments, such as data center, EV charging, etc. and translate to tangible business development initiatives
  • Competitor Intelligence:
    • Monitor existing & identify emerging competition: market players as well as competing, substituting, and supporting technologies
  • Insights sharing & co-creation:
    • Structure all relevant findings, communicate them to internal stakeholders and drive for co-creation of tangible actions resulting from these findings, incl. tailoring of insights to audience, preparation of visualizations where needed
    • Develop marketing communication formats (e.g., digital newsletters) for regular distribution to internal stakeholders
Your Profile 
  • Master-/Bachelor’s degree in economics, Marketing or Engineering
  • Good knowledge of the power generation market is expected
  • Strong experience in data analytics, (macroeconomic) modelling, regression analysis, forecasting
  • Proven ability to extract tangible insights from data (the “so-what”) and tailor communication of these insights to different stakeholder groups (from CEO to Sales and Engineering)
  • Independent work-style, results-driven and proactive personality, ability to communicate in a concise and convincing way
  • Ability to understand complex macroeconomic relationships and impact of regulation on INNIO´s Power Generation business
  • Advanced editorial skills with strong technical expertise to articulate complex content to internal stakeholders
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (especially in database management, Power Pivot, statistical/math/financial functions)
  • Fluent communication in English (verbal and written), additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to travel globally as required (up to 10%)
